Fire fighting knowledge

One day, when you were surfing the Internet leisurely in your bedroom, you suddenly smelled a pungent smell. Turning around, he found the billowing smoke pouring in from the living room, and then he saw the bright firelight. It's on fire! What should you do in the face of the flames?

One day, when you were surfing the Internet leisurely in your bedroom, you suddenly smelled a pungent smell. Turning around, he found the billowing smoke pouring in from the living room, and then he saw the bright firelight. It's on fire! What should you do in the face of the flames?
1. Judge the fire. If there is a fire at home, escape immediately. If the fire is outside your home, try the door handle and the door to see if they are hot. If you do not feel hot, you can use your body and feet to stand against the door, carefully open the door to observe the fire outside. If the smoke is diffuse, and the hot air is forced through the crack of the door, or you feel hot when you reach the door with your hands, you should immediately close the door, splash water on the door, and seal the door with a wet quilt, towel, etc. to temporarily prevent the fire from spreading into the home. If the door is not hot, it indicates that the fire is not serious. You should leave the room as soon as possible and close the door behind you. If all escape routes are blocked by fire, return to the room immediately.
2. Use space. This method can be used when the indoor space is large and the fire area is small. Clean up the combustibles in the room (both the toilet and kitchen are available, and the best water source is available in the room). At the same time, remove some combustibles in the room connected to this room, remove open flames and threats to doors and windows. Then close the doors and windows connected to the burning area to prevent smoke and toxic gases from entering, and wait for the fire to extinguish or the rescue of the fire brigade.
3. A quilt keeps out the fire. If time is available, you can use a soaked quilt (or blanket, cotton coat) to escape. If there is a baby at home, you can cover his face lightly with a damp cloth, hold him in one hand and crawl out on the ground with the other.
4. Climbing transfer. When the fire spreads rapidly from bottom to top and seals up the stairs, residents living on the upper floor can quickly climb to the roof through dormers, skylights, etc., and transfer to another house or another unit of stairs for evacuation. The fire can also be avoided by climbing to the balcony, the outer edge of the windowsill and the scaffolding, awning and other protrusions around the building. If there is a falling water or water supply pipe on the external wall of the room, competent people can use the pipe to escape. However, it should be noted that the number of people sliding at one time should not be too large to prevent people from falling due to pipeline damage during escape.
5. Refuge in toilet. If there is no way to escape, you can hide in the bathroom. Use a towel to close the door crack, pour water on the ground to cool down, or lie in a bathtub full of water to avoid.
